Bell of the Ball!

Bell of the Ball!

An amazing night of playing dress up and showing off our wares.  The Halloween Fetish & Fantasy Ball was truly a site and in the process, Morticia got a great deal of attention.  Her fuzzy little leg’s kept me busy by playing “Tarantula Treadmill” all night and even got some admirer’s that wanted to photographer her good side.

Thanks to owner of Sex and Metal, she found her photographer and enjoyed every minute of it.  In the process, even one of the S & M girls overcame her fear of spiders and made a play to handle Tish with great care.

Hope to see you next year! And make sure you stop by the site soon as the pictures are going to go up quickly!

June 13th, 2009

I know this is last minute, but I have been starting to involve myself with the Las Vegas Artist Guild. A small organization who supports the arts locally and any artist of any medium. I figure since I kind of qualify… ok, I DO qualify myself in that category, I got involved.

My first showing is tomorrow from 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM at the District in Green Valley. Come out and see some of the amazing art for sale and display.

No masks in this one, but we were there!

After the camera guys gave me the footage I put together a video of the night for everyone that was there. It is a tad short, but it gives a good impression of the night.

Boulder City Ren Fair Adventure

March 9th, 2009

I am home.  Feet dragging in, windblown skin, and gear scattered all over the house, but we made it through the first festival of the year with little damage to much more than our skin and sleep deprived bodies.

Normally the winds whip through that valley like chaos through a kitchen, but this year, the winds gave us a little reprieve and I went prepared with a windresistant shade that kept me standing this year. The only thing to overcome was the bitter cold that is quite unusual for this time of year and so it was almost better to stay in the sun than to be under the awning.

This year, instead of just henna – which is my mainstay at festivals, I sold another one of the masks, “Greenday” and was realizing how depleted the stock was quickly becoming.  So with that said, an artists work is never done and I have an endeavor to make more very very soon.

Today is spending catching up on my email, cleaning up gear and packing it away and repairing costumes should I find they need it.

Next event….. don’t know yet…. we will see.

Slave of the Muse: Anonymity Ball

February 27th, 2009

Slave of the Muse Productions provided Vegas with a night of revel and fun with a high end Masquerade Ball called the Anonymity Ball.

A team of fine individuals made sure the night was filled with activities including amazing music, video shots, puppet dancers, wandering minstrels with games of all sorts, burlesque dancers and even some amazing Shibari and suspension work.  We were even able to sneak in some Fire play, breathers and spinners in the courtyard outside the club.  An amazing DJ played a genre of just about everything from Gothic Industrial to even an few oldies that  painted the room with exotic and erotic fun.

My night was spent following a gracious host and people watching for the most part.  Some recognized me, others didn’t and then some thought I was someone else.

The party picked up after about 10:00 PM, but I found my feet couldn’t hold up much more in the boots that I trounced around in, so I left just as the party was starting to get good.  From what I understand, the production team has a call out for pictures of the event and I am sure will posting it to their MySpace.

Check back soon as from the rumor mill, they plan on having another one around October sometime!
